OK! Theres 2 ways you can do this, editing hex variables, or editing clan name with notepad. The easier one for most people would be the notepad method, which all you need is a USB memory device to copy your COD4 gamesaves. After copying your gamesaves, simply browse to your gamesave files on your computer and open GPAD0_MP.PRF with notepad. You'll find 'set clanName "xxxx"' which is what needs to be edited, for example you can put 'set clanName "^1"', which would make you have a red name, for different colors all you have to do is change the number in the tag. After editing your tag, copy your data from your USB to your PS3 data overwriting it.
^0 = Black
^1 = Red
^2 = Green
^3 = Yellow
^4 = Blue
^5 = Cyan
^6 = Magenta
